A cracked supply line or an overflowing appliance doesn't check the clock before it ruins a floor. We built our North Stonington dispatch around speed, because every extra hour of standing water costs more to repair.
Plenty of North Stonington families have dialed a big national number and waited through hold music before a random contractor showed up hours later, and Hirex Water Damage exists specifically to fix that pattern. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Certification isn't just a logo on our site — our North Stonington crew leads have logged real hours on clean, gray, and contaminated water losses, which is why Flood Damage Cleanup in North Stonington is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. We carry full liability coverage and hold active licensing to operate throughout North Stonington, CT.
Equipment lives in a North Stonington-area warehouse rather than being trucked in from three counties over, which shortens arrival time considerably.
Ask any North Stonington property manager who's dealt with an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you the real cost isn't the leak itself — it's how long standing water sits before someone with the right equipment shows up. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
We also invest in ongoing technician training, since restoration methods and equipment keep evolving and a North Stonington crew running outdated techniques does the property a disservice.
The North Stonington jobs that end up gutting a room almost always started quiet, not with a flood. Here's what tells our team a North Stonington property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our North Stonington line and we'll give you a straight answer on urgency.
We don't run a one-size response in North Stonington — a contained bathroom leak gets a different crew than a flooded restaurant kitchen. Every service below reflects a specific piece of equipment or protocol, not just a marketing category.
We arrive with submersible pumps and truck-mount extractors built to clear a flooded North Stonington room before water soaks deeper into the subfloor. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Once extraction wraps, commercial air movers and LGR dehumidifiers go to work based on psychrometric readings, not a flat per-room count, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
On the residential side in North Stonington, we handle the flood cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so the home is ready for rebuild, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
Multi-unit and commercial properties in North Stonington get their own project manager plus enough drying equipment for the real square footage, not a token setup — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination — our North Stonington crews are trained for that exact protocol.
We treat affected materials during every North Stonington job specifically to lower mold risk, and flag anything that needs deeper remediation.

We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and won't sign off on a North Stonington job until readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That commitment is written into every North Stonington work order we issue, not just mentioned in a sales pitch. We try to return the same crew for any callback so the person handling it already knows the property and the original readings.
